Pastor Jay was born in 1980 in Indiana where his parents were enrolled in Bible College. They moved to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in 1986 where Jay was raised in the town of Manistique, attending a small Christian school through grades 1 to 12. Graduating high school in 1998, he received his bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Crown College of the Bible. From 2005 to 2013, Jay served in the US Army as an infantryman and paratrooper including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Over the past 10 years, he has held various roles, including oversees missions, pastoral staff in youth ministry, and family counselor in church-based recovery ministry.
Christine (Williams) Goldsborough is the eldest daughter of Paul and Beverly Williams who have pastored in the Upper Peninsula town of McMillan, MI for over 50 years. She graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 2000 and has been serving the Lord and her family ever since. She has taught in Christian School and Sunday School alike. She has led women's and children's groups. Most of all, she has loved her family dedicated herself to her husband and children.
Jay & Christine were married in 2001 and have 3 children, Conner (2003), Serenity (2005) and Hunter (2010). They greatly enjoy making music together as a family in worship to the Lord! They love the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, disc golf and various sports. Missions is in their heart, and whenever possible, they take opportunity to travel overseas sharing the Gospel.
